Mariela Kaddour
Marie is a leader who loves life and nature. She is an experienced educator and researcher specialised in intercultural communication. As a consultant and facilitator she has a passion for training leaders. Marie is a didactic material designer and coordinator of educational projects. She facilitates training and manages translation and interpretation teams. She also organises intercultural immersion trips.
Marie graduated as an English teacher at the JRF National Institute of Living Language Teachers, where she also completed an English translation course and a recent postgraduate degree in Interculturality and teaching Spanish as a Second and Foreign Language (ELSE).
She is founder and director of CIntercultural (former CI Centro de Idiomas) and a consultant specialised in intercultural communication. She teaches English and Spanish with an intercultural approach and offers translation and interpretation services. She has more than 29 years of local and global experience.
Marie is a facilitator in English and Spanish and loves to facilitate in different settings and spaces, especially multicultural ones. She gives talks and teaches workshops to help cultural transformation processes and to achieve dreams. Throughout her professional career,she has always sought to build bridges between cultures by training officials; executives of prestigious multinationals and expatriates by promoting intercultural encounters.
To this aim she also organises English cultural immersion trips to different English-speaking destinations.
She is a regular speaker and panelist at national and international events and is the author of papers and books. Her most recent publication is: Sobre Cómo nos Comunicamos Entreculturas (Sólo un ABC). (An ABC on how we communicate between cultures.) Marie is currently studying ontological coaching and continues to learn and incorporate new knowledge.
